Addis Museum

Addis Museum occupies one of the town’s oldest surviving buildings, a brick commercial structure that served the community in earlier lives as a bank and as a post office. The museum is maintained with the support of the Addis Historical Society and focuses on the development of this West Baton Rouge Parish community, especially its importance as a railroad hub on routes linking New Orleans with points west.

Inside, visitors can explore photographs, memorabilia, railroad-related material, and displays documenting local people and civic life; parish materials also note a memorial wall honoring veterans and prisoners of war.
