About National Center for Civil and Human Rights
The National Center for Civil and Human Rights is a downtown Atlanta museum devoted to the American Civil Rights Movement and the broader global history and practice of human rights. Its exhibitions place Atlanta’s role in the movement within a national story of segregation, nonviolent protest, organizing, resistance, and social change, while also inviting visitors to consider contemporary human-rights questions.
